Local 229 ironworkers are proud to work on a variety of projects that will benefit present and future residents throughout the San Diego area. Local 229 can provide the highest skilled, most productive and safety-conscious workforce to meet the manpower needs of the largest, most complex building, bridge, industrial and other projects.

PCS Ongoing Work:  Harbor Drive Pedestrian bridge, Thomas Jefferson School of Law (10-story), Bridges at Highway 52 and 67, and at I-15, Miramar College Bldg. A & B (Bomel), South Bay WTP (PCL Construction), Broadway Pier at Cruise Ship Terminal 9, (Jaynes CORP/JS Meek Co.), Combat Training Pool and Facility at Miramar Marine Base, Milcon fuel storage at Point Loma Naval Station, Milcon P-401 Pumo House, Control Tower (Murray Builders), Alvarado WTP (Stanek), Pacific Ridge Elm (Swinerton), SD Airport Taxi-Way replacement (Flatiron), H Street widening on I-805. New jobs starting soon: Stem Cell Research in La Jolla and UCSD Revelle College Housing,  Three mid-rise buildings.
