Upcoming Meetings and Events

Building camaraderie while striving toward common goals underscores a major contributing element of the union bond. Members who engage in meeting discussions and who participate with their families in union-sponsored social gatherings enhance the overall experience for themselves and their fellow ironworkers. It’s part of how members demonstrate their support for one another.

Local 229 holds several monthly meetings at its hall:

Membership meets: Second Friday of each month at 7 p.m.

Executive Board meets: Tuesday prior to second Friday at 5:30 p.m.

Joint Apprenticeship and Training Committee meets: Second Wednesday of each month at noon
