Local 229 works in conjunction with other organized labor organizations – including the AFL-CIO – to promote policies and information sharing that benefit working families, both in San Diego and Imperial counties, and across the United States.
The San Diego and Imperial Counties Labor Council is the AFL-CIO’s local affiliate, which includes 125 local labor groups.
